'Beyond the garden gate is the sought-after village of Ashley Green with its thriving community, from social events and classes at the village hall, to evenings at the friendly local pub. Within catchment for Buckinghamshire's excellent grammar schools, including Chesham Grammar and Dr. Challoner's Grammar School, this has been the perfect base for our children to grow up. There is a fantastic play area on the village green with a lovely café where parents can chat while the children run around. Weekends often meant walking into Berkhamsted for a coffee or heading straight from the front door onto miles of cycling routes, running trails, and footpaths through open fields. Yet, we are within easy reach of rail and road networks, with direct trains from Berkhamsted to Euston and Metropolitan line services from Chesham, and easy access to the M25 motorway via the A41. We really do have the best of both worlds here.'
