Transport:

Stagecoach S4 bus runs hourly from Tackley to Oxford and Banbury on Monday to Saturday until late in the evening; and every 90minutes on Sunday. Nearest bus stop is at the Village Green, a three minute walk.
Train

Tackley station is at the far end of the village, a 15 minute walk. This has trains south to Oxford and Didcot, and trains north to Banbury. Hourly at peak times, and every two hours at other times Monday-Saturday. London Paddington is reached by changing at Didcot. Less frequent summer Sunday trains.

Oxford Parkway station to the south of Kidlington,7 miles, has trains every half hour to London Marylebone (and to Milton Keynes later in 2025). Oxford Parkway has a large carpark; and the S4 bus from/to Tackley stops close by the station.

Hanborough station, 6 miles to the south west, has direct trains daily to Worcester/Hereford.

M40 - Junction 9 is the nearest, close to Bicester.

A34 - Closest access to A34 is from the B4027 beyond Bletchingdon. The A34 north leads to the M40.
