There are no fees related to taking a tenancy.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we are required to display a list of fees that we are able to charge tenants. Urban Bubble or the companies it represents can charge the following fees:
a)Holding deposit (to reserve a property) equal to one weeks
b)We offer 2 types of deposits:
a.Traditional Deposits are 5 x weeks.
All deposits are registered with the TDS within 30 days of you moving in to the property which there is no charge for registration and a certificate is provided as proof of registration. TDS is a government approved scheme.
b.Zero Deposit option via flatfair.
There is a 1 week rent fee to be paid via flatfair. This option is only acceptable based on the outcome to referencing.
c)Payments to change the tenancy when requested by the tenant, at £50 per request such as:
a.pets to be kept in the property
b.a change of sharer in a joint tenancy
c.or any other amendment which alters the obligations of the agreement
d)Payments associated with early termination of the tenancy, when requested by the tenant, capped at the landlords loss and/or the agents reasonable costs
e)Payments in respect of utilities, communication services, TV licence and council tax;
f)A default fee for late payment of rent and replacement of a lost key/security device, where required under a tenancy agreement
Our redress scheme is The Property Ombudsman. Should you not be happy with the outcome of a complaint following our complaints procedure you can refer your complaint to The Property Ombudsman within 12 months of us issuing our final response.
