Features and description
Ken MacDonald & Co are delighted to present to the market this unique opportunity to acquire a bareland croft tenancy extending to approximately 2.15 acres. Located in the sought-after and picturesque village of Tong, this parcel of croft land offers great potential for a variety of uses. Whether you are looking to embrace a traditional crofting lifestyle, engage in agricultural activities, or design and build a home tailored to your personal tastes, this site provides a flexible and valuable canvas.
Set within a tranquil, semi-rural setting, the croft benefits from scenic surroundings and a strong sense of community, while still being conveniently close to the main town of Stornoway and its amenities, including schools, shops, healthcare facilities, and transport links.
The land is currently uncultivated, offering a blank slate for prospective purchasers. Subject to the appropriate consents and planning permissions, the site could be developed to include a residential dwelling, taking full advantage of the expansive views and peaceful environment the area has to offer.
This is a rare chance to acquire land in a well-regarded area, ideal for individuals or families looking to settle in a rural location or for those interested in developing a small-scale agricultural or horticultural enterprise. Crofting grants and support may also be available for eligible applicants.
Viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate the potential of this croft tenancy and the beautiful setting in which it is located.
