Good afternoon,

I hope my email finds you well ahead of Christmas.

The buyers requested a final inspection as they thought the tenant had left, as he is still in contract we are required to still confirm access for tomorrows viewing, which the tenant has refused. The tenant has confirmed that as he is still in contract to 26.2.26. Once he understood a buyer was found he agreed to rescind the contract, but feels as he is being held to the final two months rent and the property will be vacant from 29.12.25 that he would like to come to an agreement to rescind the contract earlier to suit the needs of the buyer, but will not allow access until this is agreed or the end of the contract.

I understand as of 15.12.25 that enquiries was still outstanding so the buyers are aiming for January to exchange and complete, although there are no guarantees. The buyers are aware that they cannot view tomorrow, pending finalising an end date with you.

Please can you confirm your instructions, to maintain the tenancy to the end for vacant possession or as you have already discussed with logan, I believe that you can agree to rescind by mutual agreement, and he will negotiate terms to bring the matter to an end.(Im sales and Logan is back in tomorrow).
