An opportunity to acquire a well-presented four-bedroom bungalow, set in an elevated position above the vibrant coastal town of Tobermory on the ever-popular Isle of Mull.

Situated in an elevated position above the vibrant coastal town of Tobermory, Torridon offers buyers an opportunity to acquire a well presented four-bedroom family home, a generously proportioned bungalow which offers far reaching views across Tobermory Bay.

The formal entrance to the property is located to the front, with a stepped pathway leading through a vestibule and into a central hallway. To the left, the family lounge is positioned to the front of the property, warmed through by a large multi fuel stove. Dual aspect windows flood the room with natural daylight, offering open views across the neighbourhood.

The kitchen is positioned to the rear of the property, fitted with a range of light green cabinets, complimented by a contrasting grey worktop. The dining table sits within the kitchen, however, an additional dining room is accessed from the hallway. A doorway to the rear of the kitchen gives access to a utility room which in turn, gives access to a shower room with WC. A rear entrance door leads from the utility to the rear garden.

Accommodation is provided by way of four bedrooms, each accessed from the central hallway. Two of the bedrooms are front facing, with the remaining two bedrooms overlooking the rear gardens. A family bathroom is also accessed from the central hallway, featuring a white bathroom suite with a mixer shower positioned over the bath. A sizable storage cupboard is also located within the hallway.

External

The property sits within mature gardens which surround the property. A gated driveway gives access for vehicle parking to the rear, with a pathway leading around the property to the front garden. The gardens are boarded by a post and wire fence around the perimeter.

A wooden storage shed and polytunnel are located within the garden. A doorway at a lower level gives access to a storage area underneath the property, a useful addition.

Torridon sits in a peaceful location above the colourful harbour town of Tobermory. The town is a popular tourist destination and provides an excellent range of dining and shopping opportunities as well as offering primary and secondary schooling, a medical centre, churches, a golf course and a distillery.

The Isle of Mull is the second largest island within the Inner Hebrides. The island is accessed via a regular car ferry service from Oban to Craignure. Services from Lochaline and Kilchoan on the Morvern and Ardnamurchan peninsulas respectively are also available. There is a small airstrip at Glenforsa suitable for private aircraft and a main line train service operating several times daily between Glasgow and Oban - some connecting directly with the ferries.

Mull boasts an extraordinary and diverse range of scenery, wildlife and leisure activities which brings large numbers of visitors throughout the year. The island also hosts a number of music and arts festivals plus the annual Tour of Mull car rally. In the sea surrounding Mull there are various trips provided to local puffin and seal colonies and also to Iona, and the island of Staffa where many tourists visit Fingal’s Cave.

Services include mains water, mains electricity, mains drainage, Oil-fired heating, BT phone and internet connectivity, Vodafone 4G reception.

From Oban, take the Calmac ferry to the Isle of Mull, arriving in Craignure. Upon leaving the ferry, turn right and follow the road for approximately 21 miles to Tobermory. At the roundabout, stay left, crossing the bridge over the river and following the road to the left on the B8073.

Continue for approximately 650 yards before turning right onto Dervaig Road. Torridon is located on the left-hand side after approximately 350 yards, clearly marked by a Bell Ingram sale board. Parking is available at the property.
