CRANBROOK

Built as an extension to the home of Victorian artist, JC Horsley, this unique property was designed and decorated by architect Richard Norman Shaw circa 1820. It is believed that the grand dome room was added in 1869 for entertaining.

The artist John Calcott Horsley was the illustrator and designer of the world's first Christmas card and reportedly received visits from the then Prince of Wales, and his heraldic badge consisting of three white feathers are displayed on the dome ceiling, this aspect of the property is Grade II* listed.

Conveniently located on the outskirts of Cranbrook, the property enjoys easy access to the mainline station at Staplehurst and is within walking distance of the sought after Cranbrook School.
