The flat is in the best location you could ask for—less than a three-minute walk to East Croydon Station, with access to London Victoria in 20 minutes, London Bridge in under 15 minutes, Gatwick Airport in 15 minutes, you won’t want to fly from anywhere else again! Or make your way to Brighton in under an hour for a seaside escape.
The route from the station to the flat is well-lit and usually has a long line of black taxis, so my wife always feels very safe walking home at night.
There’s a gym downstairs, as well as an incredibly helpful concierge team, led by the wonderful Sandra, who handles all deliveries. The underground parking even offers dedicated electric charging spaces for those who love hybrid or electric cars.
One of its standout features is the a spacious balcony, which we’ve decorated with plants and a cosy egg chair for the summer months. Residents also have access to a large private garden, located right in front of the balcony, where people often bring their dogs -my wife is obsessed! There’s also another garden behind the building, offering more privacy—perfect for a summer picnic.
During the COVID lockdown, I discovered Park Hill Park, just a five-minute walk from the flat. It’s a beautiful, small park with stunning cherry blossoms in spring, tennis courts, and an elevated area that offers breath-taking views of the surrounding landscape. If you're looking for a larger green space, Lloyd Park is only a seven-minute drive away—a huge open area, ideal for long walks with kids, pets, or simply to unwind."
