The village is situated in the beautiful Mendips with fabulous walks and many historic houses, gardens and visitor attractions nearby including Cheddar Gorge, The Roman Baths, Wookey Hole Caves and Wells Cathedral. Bath is situated 12 miles to the north east, Wells 10 miles to the east and Bristol 20 miles to the north with the A303, M5 and M4 motorway within approximately half an hour.

Midsomer Norton (2 miles) offers a good range of services and the picturesque city of Wells offers further amenities and shopping facilities including supermarkets, as well as twice weekly markets, cinema, leisure centre, a choice of pubs and restaurants and several churches. Stratton-on-the-Fosse is within the catchment of the highly regarded Chilcompton Primary School and Wells Blue School. There are also many respected independent schools within easy reach.

Directions

From Bath, take the A367 heading southwest.
Continue on the A367 for approximately 12.5 miles, this will bring you to the village of Stratton-on-the-Fosse. At the entrance to the village, you will see the village hall on your right-hand side, take a left turn down Church Lane, approximately 350m after the village hall. After a short distance, the parking and entrance to the property is on the left. There is a green sign on the wall in front.
