Situated in the sought after village of Stewkley, this Victorian semi-detached house has a mix of character features and modern living. With a generous living space of 1,141 square feet, you have a modern spacious kitchen, versatile study/utility room as well as two large reception rooms. Benefitting from three well-proportioned bedrooms, ideal for families, guests as well as a home office. The bathroom has been recently refitted so is modern yet traditional with a four piece suite. There is a large garden mostly laid to lawn as well as a decking area. No upper chain.

If This Was Your Home... - Stroll up your path and step through the handsome, ivy-festooned brick frontage and you have arrived in your sizeable 200 square foot front lounge, with soft grey carpeting underfoot, a blank hearth at one end and twin windows dressed in classic timber shutters. A fantastic size living room almost the size of two seperate rooms and ideal for entertaining.

Venture further in and your open plan kitchen and garden room dining area make a splendid team. There are clear sightlines from the lounge to the garden, this is an impeccably appointed, versatile space. The garden room is spacious with doors opening out to the garden, there is room for a large dining table and chairs here.

Artfully distressed slate tiling runs underfoot, while a constellation of recessed spotlights illuminate everything overhead. A large range of sleek white cabinets run down the flanks, topped with matching chunky worktops and a smashed mosaic splash back. A truly spacious area that will be a green flag for any household chef. There's also an integrated stainless steel oven, with matching gas hob and extractor fan.

A breakfast bar divides the kitchen and garden room, with a mint green surround and striking onyx sink. Chrome fittings complete the aesthetic.

The artful flooring flows on into your garden room/dining area. Bright, naturally, with a smoked vaulted roof - in here you have widescreen views of your garden, and can enjoy this outdoor space at any time of year.

It's a superb size touching on a hundred feet in length (approx). Your generous lawn is bisected by a pathway winding between high timber fencing and screening greenery. At the end there's a raised, substantial and nicely sheltered deck that's BBQ-perfect and scattered with pots. Barely overlooked, it's the ideal spot for dining al fresco, and a lovely outdoor retreat, with your new home framed by trees in the middle distance.

Head back inside now, and follow your side return in for a handy utility area. In here there's an ideal spot for laundry, plus plenty of space to arrange as a home study or craft room, with blonde hardwood running underfoot and lots of open shelving.

There's also a handy cloakroom and WC off to one side. It all adds up to a superb self-contained space.

Upstairs now, where your principal bedroom – a bright substantial double – sits to the front. Soft grey carpet runs underfoot, complementing the pale cream finish. There is a window to the front aspect with fitted shutters. Plenty of space for wardrobes and other bedroom furniture.

Next door bedroom two is another double, this time with dark hardwood flooring and a soft pink colour scheme. Again plenty of space for wardrobes and bedroom furniture. Window to the front aspect with fitted shutters.

Finally, bedroom three completes the sleeping arrangements, a generous room with plentiful floor to ceiling fitted storage, and a garden view from the window to the rear aspect again with fitted shutters. A good size third room or perfect home office.

There's more storage out on your landing, in the form of a handy linen closet, before your family bathroom tops off the property in style.

The bathroom has been recently refitted, with period tile geometrics running underfoot and a classic pedestal sink sits against a smoky metro tile backsplash. There's more metro tilework surrounding your freestanding bath, as well as running from top to toe in your seperate dedicated walk-in rainfall shower cubicle.

A fantastic family home with no upper chain that shouldn't be missed.

Your Neighbourhood - One of our favourite Bucks villages, Stewkley dates back to the Domesday book and was once home to the son of Geoffrey Chaucer.

You're right in the nominal heart of the village here, just a couple of steps from where High Street South becomes High Street North (at two miles long, Stewkley has arguably the longest village high street in the UK).

Everything's still within easy reach though – local The Carpenters Arms is less than ten minutes' walk on High Street South and The Swan is a brilliant local pub a similar distance away on High Street North. While the St Michael's C of E combined school (rated 'Good' by Ofsted) is just as close in the other direction as well as being in catchment for the Aylesbury grammar schools.

The open greenery of Stewkley Recreation Ground is just a couple of minutes across the road – perfect for morning jogs or exercising dogs, and of course you're surrounded by the glorious Bucks countryside.

Finally, the market town of Leighton Buzzard is around ten minutes away by car, for a full range of shops, more excellent schools, bars and restaurants, as well direct rail links to London Euston. Regular fast trains take just thirty two minutes.
