Nenthead is located in the County of Cumbria, North West England, four miles south-east of the town of Alston, 25 miles east of the major city of Carlisle and around 40 mins by car to Newcastle. There is a small school for children aged 5-11 years. There is also a children's play area, along with a community shop and post office, cycle shop serving the C2C cyclists, The Hive which is a gallery, café and gift shop open for special events throughout the year. Alston (approx. 4 miles away) also has primary and secondary schools, providing education from the ages of 5-16 years. Alston also provides a doctor's surgery, dentist and fire station. There are also an abundance of local shops, pubs and eateries in Alston providing for most everyday needs.

Take the A689 Out Of Alston towards Nenthead past the Hudgill Caravan Park and Nenthall Hotel over the bridge take the turning left and head up the bank. Take the next turning left and drive along the back lane. Once you climb up the bank take the lane to the end onto the trach then you will find the entrance gates on your right which lead up the track to the property.
