Beautiful two bedroom first floor apartment with Freehold-share and high ceilings, within a Grade II listed Georgian gem on one of the area’s finest streets.

The property is in immaculate just-move-in condition, and St. Giles Church spire views impress from all the rear rooms.

You are in totally glorious Camberwell Grove Conservation Area heartland here, very close to central Camberwell and Denmark Hill Station (Fare Zone 2). And central Peckham is an easy walk: 15-20 minutes.

Boasting impressive architecture (Georgian in the main), Camberwell Grove – the worthy star of a charming episode of the BBC series ‘The Secret History of Our Streets’ (2016) – follows the line of a grove of mesmerising mature plane trees which once led from a Tudor manor house which afforded an excellent view of the City of London (just three miles to the north).

What a first impression – even the railings are listed! In the grand front door (noting your portico entry), and you land in a smart shared hall. Take the stairs to the first floor and your own front door.

On entry, there’s a custom-made coat closet to your immediate left. Straight ahead and you’ll find your sash-windowed second bedroom. It is a small double, of over 8 feet each way with all-season leafy and spire vistas.

Next on your left is the property’s bathroom. Again with a large sash window (frosted on the lower pane for blush-saving). It’s been recently-renovated to a high standard, with traditional-style white sanitary ware, brick-style tiling, large profile floor tiles, and an over bath shower.

Next door is the principal bedroom – a generous double of over 12 feet each way, with a classy central fireplace with tiled hearth. Two sash windows deliver sunny south-westerly street views over the pretty plane trees.

The main event awaits: a huge main room of over 17 feet by over 13 feet, with engineered oak gracing the floor. The large reception space is open-plan to the smart kitchen area (by design not compromise). The fitted kitchen units are a timeless Shaker-style in a blue hue, teamed with wooden counters and a ceramic Butler sink.

For local green space, you are really close to St. Giles Churchyard and Lucas Gardens, with Lettsom Gardens, Myatt’s Fields, and Brunswick and Ruskin Parks but a short walk too. Brockwell Park, Peckham Rye Park & Common, Burgess Park and even Dulwich and Greenwich Parks are also all easily reached.

Denmark Hill Station is a mere nine minute walk for Fare Zone 2 regular and Overground services. Camberwell Church Street is also close for excellent day and night bus routes. Westminster is 20 minutes away if you prefer to cycle.

Central Camberwell has a strong, and getting stronger, foodie/wine bar scene. Some of our favourites spots are The Camberwell Arms, Theo’s, Gladwell’s, Little Cellars, Forza Win, TOAD (bakery) and Veraison Wines.

You’ve got good pubs locally as well: Grove House Tavern, Hermits Cave, The Crooked Well, Stormbird, The Phoenix (by the station) and The Tiger are all recommended.

Zen Yoga Studio is close, as is Butterfly Tennis Club. Camberwell’s leisure centre is also nearby; with pool and gym facilities in a handsome Victorian building.

Central Peckham is close as we’ve mentioned. Peckham’s night and high life includes rooftop bars atop Peckham Levels and The Bussey Building. Peckham Plex Cinema is cool (and there's a Picturehouse cinema on East Dulwich's Lordship Lane).

Bellenden Road’s best restaurants include The Begging Bowl, Artusi and Ganapati. Blenheim Grove and Rye Lane have further fab options. And Petitou cafe (on Choumert Road) is great for people-watching with a coffee. The Montpelier and Victoria Inn pubs are worthy of note in this locale.

For more options, Dulwich, Herne Hill and Brixton are all close.
