Please email your enquiry! We are very proud to present to the rental market Park House - a 3 bedroom detached house with a bedroom self-contained garden annex.
Being situated near Kirkby in Ashfield train station and town centre it offers excellent transport links into Nottingham City and good access to the M1 / A614 / A38. The property is set back from the road with an established front garden and driveway to the side, which in turn leads to the rear courtyard with parking for several vehicles possible.
On entry to this house we love the period detailing around the front door and porch, this leads to a spacious and wide hallway. Off to the right is a nice size front living room with feature fire place. Step further into this property and you will find the original kitchen, wall units, range cooker and also a utility room. The original flooring tiles were dug up so the owner could insulate underneath. The property has an extension to the rear which could be used as a living room / dining room or study featuring a downstairs W.C. A lovely bright room with thanks to the velux windows.
Upstairs you will be delighted with the spacious 3 double bedrooms and feature master bathroom with is roll top free-standing bath and shower.
Outside is beautiful - a real country cottage style garden. There is the original 'wash room' which is currently used as storage. The cobbled courtyard also has shelter and power supply.
At the top of the garden is the old stable block, which has been tastefully converted into an annex featuring one bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room with log burner. It also has central heating.
This unique property really has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

White House Lettings - Kirkby in Ashfield
Lower Portland
Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
NG17 9LD
01623 355854Welcome to White House Lettings Debbie, Samantha, Nick and Ian would like to thank you for visiting our site. Why did we start? Our business started some 5 years ago now, ironically born out of a conversation over Sunday lunch saying ‘we could do better than those’. This naturally progressed as Nick and Debbie had rental properties of their own but were never happy nor satisfied with service from Letting agents. As Debbie was then made redundant from her recruitment administration role, Samantha made the decision to leave her job at Boots Head office and Ian worked alongside in the background whilst serving as a police officer for Nottinghamshire Police. What happened then? White House Lettings was originally going to be an online local agent, based out of Samantha and Ians House – which is painted White. Neighbours often referred to it as ‘The White House’ and we believed this was both catchy and easily identifiable. Once market research had been completed we realised it was important to tenants and landlords for us to have a dedicated shop. Keeping the true family element at the heat of our business Ian’s Grandmother had an empty shop which was previously a popular butchers in Kirkby. From there we approached Ashfield District Council for support, they happened to have grants available to transform empty shops into occupied premises Drawing on Samantha’s business knowledge we submitting our business plan and pleased when we were approved and quickly refurbished the shop and opened the doors with bright pink branding chosen by, Samantha! Our ethos – from the very start we set out to be completely honest and transparent with our pricing structure in a then, rather cloudy industry with hidden fees. We also wanted to be the best at customer services and to genuinely make customers feel valued. We set out to make our customers feel like part of our family and push the boundaries of what is reasonably expected to be delivered to give the edge over competitors. Did it work? During the last five years we have grown organically without advertisement, we rely on the best form of marketing we knew of – word of mouth. As we worked with more landlords who were delighted with our service and pricing they helped spread the word giving us many recommendations. Our tenants, often neglected in the industry, are just as valuable to us as our landlords. That feeling of being cared about and valued has seen a significant rise in tenants on our waiting list wanting to become part of the White House Family. As the business has continued to grow we have been through our own learning curve with expansion, which has resulted in Ian leaving Nottinghamshire Police after 10 years to now be full time. Day to day business – Experience has narrowed down our opening hours for core demand between 1000 and 1600 hours, outside of these hours we reserve appointments for viewings, inspections and meeting new customers. In the shop you will find us working in an environment designed to feel more like your own living room rather than a commercial letting agent. We are fully complaint however with all leading bodies and always ahead of legislation including the recently passed tenant fee ban forcing many small letting agents out of business. This has been a great relief in giving us further confidence in our business that we continue to grow in an industry which has seen such hardship.
