Homesmart Sales and Lettings was created in 2006 by owner Julie Wood. Julie is a private landlord and investor who became dissatisfied and frustrated with the unprofessional and inactive service she recieved from agents. As Julie's experience grew in buying property to let and dealing with the pitfalls of being a landlord and marketing property, she was approached by other owners requesting her help in managing their portfolios. Homesmart Lettings grew organically as Julie took over the management of more and more properties in West Yorkshire, with Homesmart now managing more than 165 properties from 140 landlords throughout Yorkshire, including Liversedge, Heckmondwike, Cleckheaton, Mirfield, Birstall, Clifton, Hartshead, Batley, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Bradford and Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. Homesmart's success in lettings inspired Julie to embark on expanding into the estate agency aspect of property marketing in 2014. Buying or selling a home is quite possibly one of the most stressful of life's experiences and Julie's team bring their skills in negotiating the sale of property to guide both buyers and sellers to a successful sale.
