There has been some confusion the last few days so wanted to include my estate agent within this email to clearly set out where we are up to and so I can be provided with some timescales for responses.
You sent all the searches, documents and queries to me on Friday 1st August. I reviewed these over the weekend and replied to your email at 8am Monday morning.
I have allowed the 48 hour grace period detailed within your automatic replies before emailing requesting an update on the 6th August. I received a response stating that A2 had sent the outstanding 6 queries to the sellers solicitors and were awaiting a response to these queries in order to agree a completion date.
I have updated my estate agents who have in turn updated the seller. The seller has responded to say that their solicitors have no such knowledge of an email regarding 6 outstanding queries.
I am informed that the sellers solicitors have contacted you today to be informed someone will look into this and get back to them. I have also called and been told the same but have not received a response thus far.
Can I please have some clear timescales on when to expect to receive a response. As stated my letting agent will not accept a pro rata notice therefore if I don’t hand my notice in on the 11th I will need to do this on the 11th September and pay for 2 properties which I really cannot afford to do.
Can I please be provided with clear, realistic timescales for when I can expect the remaining 6 queries to be sent out, and when a date can be agreed. As previously stated I am flexible with dates and want the soonest available exchange of contracts and completion date - there is no need to come back to me to have the date agreed, I just need to be told when it is.
I look forward to your prompt response.
