Charming early Victorian period home in the heart of sought after village, just 2 miles from Hanborough Station.

Description

This pretty period property sits behind wrought iron railings with lavender lined pathways. Believed to have origins dating from around 1840, the early Victorian cottage was extended about six years ago and today provides generous accommodation over four floors.

The kitchen/breakfast room with stone floors and walk-in pantry has appliances including an induction hob, Bosch fan oven, combi oven and warming drawer. Just beyond is the study, light filled from a large roof lantern. The sitting room, features a fireplace with a wood burning stove. A cosy snug/family room leads on to the garden room with its sliding doors that open onto the terrace and garden. The boot room and cloakroom are also conveniently located with access to the rear garden. Clever use of the cellar has created a good sized utility room with ample storage. Four of the five bedrooms are open to the eaves, and all have in-built wardrobes. The principal bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a dressing area and there is a separate shower room on both the first and second floors.

Outside, a terrace spans the rear of the cottage and leads on to a large log store and side access gate. Beyond the terrace is a lawn, bordered by mature flower beds. There is a gravelled parking area at the end of the garden.

Agents note:- Pear Tree Cottage enjoys a right of way over neighbouring property to park at the rear.
