Sylvan Copse is a secluded mixed woodland nestled in the heart of the Somerset countryside. Spanning just over 3 acres, this copse is ideally sized for those interested in owning and managing a small woodland.

A delightful network of grassy rides and pathways weaves through the woodland, showcasing the rich diversity of species within. You’ll find oak, ash, birch, hawthorn, hazel, lime, conifer, grey, and goat willow throughout. The woodland also boasts wonderful open glades, perfect for setting up camp or using as a base for various woodland activities. 

The larger Pink Wood of which Sylvan is part provides a rich habitat for various wildlife, muntjac and roe deer are frequent visitors. 

Nearby, the charming town of Bruton, with excellent pubs, shops, and restaurants, is just a few minutes away. Further afield, the market town of Frome and the city of Bath are easily accessible.

District Council is South Somerset and the County Council Somerset

Boundaries: The boundary is open on all sides and marked with pink paint. South, east and west border neighbouring woodland. The northern boundary follows the main access track.

Access: There is excellent vehicle access all year round via a hard track and shared locked gate. Parking is possible within the woodland itself. 

Viewing: You are welcome to visit this wood by yourself, but please download the details showing the location of the woodland and ensure that you have a copy of these sales details with you. For viewing purposes, park near the main entrance on Pinkwood Lane, as marked on the map, please don't block the gate. 

Climb over the gate or pass through the boundary to access the site and follow the track marked blue on the map. After approx 200m the entrance to Sylvan Copse will be on your left.
