Tower House is a stunning period home, being a wing of Beckford Hall. The hall stands on the site of a priory of Augustinian canons founded in 1128. In the C16 it became the seat of the Wakeman family and was completely rebuilt. During the C20 it was used as a theological college until it was converted into 5 properties in 1977 when it was purchased by the current owners.

Once in Beckford, go through the stone pillars marked Beckford Hall, opposite the village shop. Proceed up the gravel driveway bearing left signposted Tower House, and the driveway to Tower House is just to the right of the triple garage.
