The location of this site is second to none, as it is close to sandy beaches, and runs adjacent to the River Naver, with the sea within a minutes walk away. The site itself was noted to be in the top ten most beautiful places, in the North of Scotland, in a recent newspaper article . It is situated in a haven of wildlife, with fishing ponds nearby, birds of prey, and local livestock frequenting the site. The ruinous former croft house extends to 175 feet, and at present has Planning in Principle on it for one house and a bunkhouse/hostel. It is our understanding that planning may look at the possibility of granting more houses on the site. The Highland Planning Reference is 21/01243/PIP. At present there is one house with a courtyard, which is crying out to be redeveloped.

This excellent site is accessed just off the main Bettyhill to Thurso road. It is close to the Bettyhill Hotel and within walking distance to Bettyhill School and swimming pool, as well as the post office. Nearby is a convenience store and a cafe. The site is within a thirty mile car journey to Thurso where further facilities a such as supermarkets, a cinema and gym can be found. Thurso has rail links South, and also offers a good selection of amenities.
