Features and description

OF INTEREST TO GARDENERS AND ANIMAL LOVERS

An allotment forming a fairly level site of approximately 0.31 acres or thereabouts, including a range of brick outbuildings, in a popular village location on the North side of Barnsley.

Forming part of this established allotment site off the A637 Barnsley Road in Darton, this is a fairly level parcel of land approached through a 14ft wide recessed entrance with a set of wood gates and a central iron hand gate onto a track leading onto the main road.

A large quantity of stone laid along the centre of this ‘L’ shaped site leads to a courtyard of brick outbuildings located at the opposite end to the entrance. The outbuildings include a workshop with loft above, 6 pig sties each approx. 3 metres square, 2 large stables and a former tack room. The line of the North East boundary of the allotment in relation to the first of two large garages (left one when facing) is a section of boundary not defined with a physical boundary. Therefore, the brochure includes copy plans, both not to scale, with the photographs on our Internet sites. For further information see the Plan paragraph below.

Kindly note, a section of the North East boundary of this allotment is without a boundary fence. Kindly note, the undefined part of the North East boundary close to the left hand garage (when facing) is in the course of being pegged out. It abuts a portion of land belonging to a neighbour on Richard Road and is therefore not included in the sale. A copy of H. M. Land Registry Plan SYK439128 (not to scale) shows the neighbours land in question shaded green.

RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT CLAUSE

A development clause will be included in the sale contract.
