Middlemarch is an idyllically situated non-estate link detached family home built in the 1980s in a very quiet semi-rural setting on the edge of the village.

The accommodation consists of entrance vestibule into entrance hall with staircase to first floor landing. The spacious sitting room has a log burner in a reconstituted stone feature fireplace and a window to the front. From here glazed double doors open into the kitchen/dining room with integrated oven and microwave, ceramic hob and a peninsular unit that incorporates a breakfast bar. There is an under stairs storage which creates a useful larder cupboard and a window and patio doors out onto the rear garden. There is a utility room giving access to the rear garden, separate cloakroom and the integral garage.

At first floor level there are four bedrooms with numbers two and three enjoying the best of the views over the rear garden with fields beyond. The family bathroom has a modern white suite of panel bath plus a separate double sized shower cubicle.

The house is set well back from the lane with a gravel drive leading to the garage capable of parking two or three cars. The rest of the garden is laid to lawn with borders of shrubs and pathway to entrance. The rear garden which is about 100ft long and again laid mainly to lawn with mature trees and shrubs in the borders and delightful views beyond.

Leighterton is a delightful South Cotswold village with a sought after Primary School, pub Church and farmshop. The village is about ¾ of a mile off the A46 with its excellent connections southwards towards the M4, Bristol and the M5 and then northwards to Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham and the M5 northbound.

Nearby, Tetbury is well known for its royal houses being 1.5 miles north east of Highgrove House the country home of HRH the Prince of Wales, with Gatcombe Park, the home of the Princess Royal, being some 4 miles to the north. There are a good range of shops, hotels, Inns and restaurants, primary and secondary schools and leisure and sporting facilities.

Within the local area are a number of places of interest including the world famous Westonbirt Arboretum with 18 thousand trees and shrubs in some 600 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds.
