Bray Cottage is situated in the heart of Kintbury, an extremely popular village located in the Kennet Valley. Locally known for its good range of facilities and services including the train station with direct links to Newbury, Reading and London Paddington. The village contains a local primary school, Montessori school, pet store, church, village store, post office, village hall, sporting facilities and pub/ restaurants. There are very convenient communication links with the M4 being accessed at either Junction 13 (8 miles), or Junction 14 (6 miles), or the A34 (5 miles). The market towns of Hungerford, Marlborough, Wantage, and Newbury are all within 15 miles. The Kennet Valley is famous for its fishing, networks of footpaths and bridleways. The valley is bounded by the Wessex Downs, the Ridgeway, and the Savernake Forest.
