What the owners love:
"When we found this flat we fell in love straight away. It was so new, modern, bright and airy, had a huge garden, its own driveway, no shared front door and even had an outbuilding for whatever we wanted to use it for! It feels like a house, just one floor up. It was unlike anything else we saw. When we then moved in, we then realised how amazing Pitshanger lane is, literally at the end of the road, with everything you need on it including two fantastic pubs. The area itself feels really safe, the road is quiet and 5 minutes walk from two lovely parks, and less than 20 minutes walk from Ealing Broadway station and all the shops there… we’ve been so proud to show it to our friends and family and have been so happy in it. Genuinely will be very sad to leave it!"
What the agent says:
Why Choose Between A House And A Flat When You Can Have The Best Of Both? This superb marionette is only a stone’s throw from the shops and cafés on Pitshanger Lane and comes with its own secluded west facing garden.
Castlebar Park is a popular, leafy street between Ealing Broadway and Pitshanger Village - the area's substantial period properties tend to be large family homes, which is why this three-bedroom maisonette is something of a rare find, particularly one that boasts an impressive 25m-long back garden.
Another couple of noteworthy useful benefits - you can park your car on the block paved front drive and enter via your own private door at the side of the property.
Looking up the stairs, you’ll immediately get a sense of the tasteful contemporary style that’s been used throughout. The crisp, white colour-scheme helps to reflect the natural light that floods in through the bay windows in the lounge and front bedroom.
The main living area is sociable and open plan, with a generous lounge that has room for dining, in addition to a relaxed seating area. The superb modern fitted kitchen is at the rear of the room overlooking the garden, meaning you don’t have to miss out on any of the conversation if you’re preparing a meal or a round of drinks.
The first floor has two double bedrooms along with a stylish shower room - the largest bedroom at the front has a bay window and an ensuite w/c. The loft space has been converted into a spacious 3rd bedroom, which has great views of the back garden, a dressing area and an ensuite bathroom.
And onto another priceless gem - the wonderful private garden is around 25m long, with a decked seating area, an artificial lawn (zero maintenance folks!) and a versatile outbuilding at the rear. It’s currently being used as a gym but it would also make a fantastic garden office, workshop or studio.
You're only a few minutes walk from the independent shops and eateries on Pitshanger Lane. It’s no surprise that in 2015 it fought off stiff competition to be crowned London’s Best High Street. And if you’re looking for big name retailers or a cheeky Nando’s, Ealing Broadway is within very easy reach.
If you love outdoor green space, you’re perfectly positioned with both Cleveland Park and Pitshanger Park only a couple of streets away. And when you’ve worked up an appetite or thirst, you can stop off at the Duke Of Kent, which is handily located at the entrance to Cleveland Park.
Ealing Broadway also offers you an abundance of transport options - in addition to the Central Line, District Line & GWR, you can hop onto a new super-fast Elizabeth Line train to head into Central London and beyond.
If you have children, or are thinking of starting a family, the fantastic local schools will be another great reason to move here.
We’re expecting plenty of interest in this superb, unique property which is in a fabulous location. Make sure you don’t miss out by contacting us to book a viewing.
