Location - Situated just on the edge of the village of Bettyhill a stones throw from the rugged north coast and nearby sandy beaches at Farr Bay and Torrisdale, 20 Achneiskich is easily accessed by single-track public road.
The popular NC500 route runs through the village of Bettyhill which lies on the A836 road, 32 miles west of Thurso and 12 miles from Tongue.
From the A836, take the Bettyhill General Stores junction signposted for the Police Station and Service Point, continue past the Police Station and Store Cafe, turn left immediately after, signposted Achneiskich and where the road forks follow the road to the right. The first field on the left with outbuilding is Area 3, Area 2 is directly across the road on your right.
