Walmsley is an independent firm of Estate Agents established in 1996 by Simon Walmsley. With several years experience in estate agency, Simon invested in people and innovation to build a brand centred around best practice.  This strategy soon pushed us to the forefront of the local market and is what remains our competitive edge today. In 2006, Simon joined forces with Janet Burns to create Walmsley residential lettings. With 26 years industry experience, full qualifications in the lettings sector and an existing large customer base acquired from running another Caversham lettings company, Janet was the ideal business partner.  She now runs a department of 8 staff and we are the largest lettings company in Caversham. We operate out of prominently placed high street offices in Caversham and Woodley which cover the whole of the Reading area, providing comprehensive sales and lettings services. We are property professionals with many years of accumulated experience in the local market, and whilst we are constantly recommended by many firms of solicitors, high street banks and other institutions, we are proud of the fact that the majority of our new business comes from the personal recommendations of past clients.
