Communications are excellent, with Kemble station providing direct trains to London Paddington within 70 mins, Motorways M4 (J 17) about 15 miles or M5 (J 13) about 11 miles.
Sporting and leisure facilities include golf at Minchinhampton, horse racing at Bath and Cheltenham, eventing at Gatcombe, Badminton and Dauntsey. There are many excellent walks and rides across the surrounding countryside. Trail Hunting with the Duke of Beaufort's, RAU and VWH.
Education in the area is first class, Beaudesert Park School is a short drive away and others, such as Westonbirt, Wycliffe, St Mary's Calne and Rendcomb have local bus runs, as well as other schools and colleges in the Cheltenham and Bath areas.
