A big practical house for a family with plenty of room and a large garden in a quiet village– what more could you need!  There was lots of space for 4 very active children growing up plus assorted dogs, hens and rabbits!. It’s a great community with a super school, great pub and for me, who needed to travel for work it couldn’t have been better – fast commutes to Derby, Nottingham, Stoke and Birmingham, a grand mainline rail service and two airports within 45 mins!”

 Church Broughton is a lovely quaint village in South Derbyshire which is surrounded by farmland. There is a popular pub called The Hollybush in the village which has just won an award for the best Sunday Roast in Derbyshire! There is also a village shop. The neighbouring villages of Hatton and Hilton have all the amenities including shops, hairdressers, a choice of pubs and major road links including the A38 and A50. Church Broughton also has a Golf and Tennis Club for local leisure activities. There is also Church Broughton C of E Primary School located in the village.
