A charming, semi-detached, three bedroom cottage on this country lane near the popular village of Rushlake Green

Description

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on a country lane in the desirable hamlet of Turners Green, The Dwellings is an attractive, traditional, tile-hung cottage that has been updated and extended over the years to provide spacious family accommodation with an abundance of character and charm throughout, including exposed timber beams, feature fireplaces and ledge and braced doors.

Approached via a pretty cottage garden with a brick pathway, the entrance hall opens onto a cosy snug, fitted with a decorative cast iron fireplace and useful storage cupboard. An open arch leads into the attractive dining room which adjoins the kitchen and offers an ideal space for entertaining. Fitted with hand painted shaker-style base and wall units, the kitchen benefits from Amtico herringbone flooring with electric underfloor heating throughout, together with an integrated dishwasher and an electric 'Esse’ range style cooker. An adjoining utility room provides space for a washer/dryer, and opens onto the stylish wc.

Fitted with a wood burning stove, the sitting room enjoys French doors opening onto the garden, whilst a further reception room provides flexible accommodation that can be arranged to suit, perhaps as a study, ideal for today's working from home requirements.

Upstairs, the principal bedroom benefits from an outlook over the garden and adjoins bedroom two, offering an ideal space for a nursery or dressing room. Bedroom three provides space for a double bed, with far-reaching views across the opposite fields. All bedrooms are served by the stylish family bathroom which has been redesigned to provide a freestanding roll-top bath and a separate sizeable walk-in shower, with a velux window above providing an abundance of light, together with recess storage cabinets, a basin and wc.

The Dwellings has the added benefit of generous outbuildings in the form of a large garage with two parking spaces in front, leading onto two sizeable workrooms. There are two further storage outbuildings, accessed directly from the garden, together with an outdoor 'home office’ fitted with light and electric heating.

The generous garden has been landscaped by our clients to create a range of areas to enjoy, including a circular terrace with a pergola entwined with various climbers, a further decked seating area with a summer house, and a pergola walkway leading onto the vegetable garden with raised beds. Mature, herbaceous boarders offer bursts of colour throughout the year.
