Reivers Cottage is just above and over the road from The Blackcock Inn in Falstone. Falstone is a small rural village between Bellingham and Kielder, and is approximately 25 miles from Hexham. Bellingham lies approximately 16 miles to the North of Hexham and is a rural community town with a range of shops to cater for your daily needs, a library, medical practice and also a Post Office. There are schools catering for children up to the age of 13, who then move on to Hexham for their senior education and there are regular buses running between Hexham and Bellingham. The town lies on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, at the North End of the Pennine Way, and is ideally situated for a number of local tourist attractions including Hadrian's Wall, Dark Skies at Kielder, The Borders and all that the National Park has to offer. There are a number of popular walking areas, including the nearby Hareshaw Linn, and the town is surrounded by attractive countryside.
