On a financially sound footing, we have no borrowings, own our own commercial freehold and are able to spend money freely on the promotion of our clients properties without financial pressure. Inadvertently a firm or individual (who may be on targets) under pressure may not advise in the best interests of their selling clients but consider their own financial interests/targets first and this could be to the detriment of their selling client. Some estate agents arrange finance for applicants (buyers) through their ‘in house’ mortgage advisor and receive commission for doing so which could lead to a conflict of interest if they are also selling the house the applicants are interested in! Gladly that is not us! Please do not think that because of our fortunate (through sheer hard work and some luck...the harder we work the luckier we get!) standing we are less motivated to achieve, on the contrary the reverse is applicable. We remain highly aspirational. We are not content to be complacent and continue to strive to keep up the very high standard we have achieved so far. You can trust us to get the job done. We work as a great team and with energy, headed by the proprietor, who after 41 years is still at the helm, ably supported by highly motivated, experienced staff who know what they are doing and who are exceptional in their respective roles. We have no shareholders to please and no absentee owners. We are extremely keen and interested in you, the still living founding father loves estate agency and this is mirrored by all his staff. Our Modus Operandi is to obtain for you the highest possible price for your property in your required time scale. Unless instructed to the contrary we would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are uncomfortable in selling your property to the first applicant (buyer) through your door as we genuinely believe that in order to find you the right buyer at the best price you would be savvy in keeping your property available for a few days. There can of course be exceptions to this rule. You will be glad to hear that we work hard to earn our commission and your final selling price is as important to us as it is to you. We offer free, without obligation, valuations. We operate on a no sale – no fee basis, a sale being determined by exchange of contracts and completion.
