This productive arable land comprises a single field situated on the south side of Fleming Road between the villages of Staple and Woodnesborough. Staple lies about 1.6 km (1 mile) to the west and Woodnesborough 2.5 km to the east. The larger villages of Eastry and Wingham are about 3 and 4.5 km (1.8 and 2.8 miles) distant and the Medieval Town of Sandwich is approximately 5.5 km (3.5 miles) away to the east.

On DEFRA’s Magic Map, under Agricultural Land Classification, all of the land is shown as Grade 1. Grade 1 land is described as excellent quality, with no or very minor limitations to agricultural use, being capable of producing a wide variety of crops with high, predictable yields. The map’s Soilscape overlay shows that the soils are a freely draining slightly acid loam.

It is a single arable field, capable of producing a range of good quality crops including combinable and market garden crops such as potatoes. The land is currently sown to a grass ley. The land is gently sloped from a high point near the centre of the southern boundary.

The land has frontage along its northern boundary to the public highway from which vehicular access is gained.
