OWNERS' INSIGHT
"We initially started the comprehensive development of Astor House back in 2007 to provide seventeen fine apartments within the original Victorian residence and contemporary wings. Having retained a selection, this particular apartment has been a successful investment for ourselves, primarily holiday let through the peak seasons mixed with periodic assured shorthold over the winter months. Whether someone is looking to buy as an owner occupier, second home, or continued rental investment, they will find an exceptional lifestyle at Astor House. The views are unrivalled, and the location perfect for everything Torbay has to offer. The sea front, Marina, Princess Theatre, and choice are restaurants are literally a matter of minutes' walk, with a private gateway in the garden leading directly onto Rock Walk."
OWNERS STATEMENT
We are only selling this reluctantly for family reasons! We have had this flat as an investment flat since we built it as an extension in 2010; and it has always provided us with an impressive income. The flat has a great yield (11%); as it is earning almost as much as much larger flats. Unusually for Torquay, permission to holiday let is included in the lease. We are happy to sell the flat as a going concern with furniture included if required and potentially offer agent services as we do with other flat owners in Astor House alongside our own. The views are second to none from the juliette balcony, and extremely popular with guests. There is always something to watch on the bay outside, whatever the weather! It has good access to great restaurants and bars just below on the promenade; as well as the beach, tennis courts and train station/bus routes. If you wish to add a balcony, planning permission has been previously granted although now lapsed.

Built-in electric oven, four ring ceramic hob with filter hood over, integrated dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. DOUBLE BEDROOM with window overlooking the front approach and fitted storage cupboard housing the electric consumer unit. BATHROOM with white suite of panelled bath with shower over, wash hand basin set in vanity unit and WC. Fully tiled walls, inset downlighters, chrome heated towel rail, extractor fan and cupboard housing the Worcester gas fired boiler.
