Arle Court at Arle was largely demolished in 1880 but a little of the old Elizabethan building remains. The original stone can be seen in the neighbours drive and the original window and floor are still to be seen in the present kitchen. The brick part of the house which was built around 1880 used bricks actually made locally, the beams in many of the rooms are old ships timbers and some carry the initials of the carpenters who installed them. The house was formed into Arle Court Farmhouse and the house was owned by Frank Brown known as Jocker. The original panelling and staircase were taken from the house and put into the other Arle Court House built in Victorian times and became the headquarters of Dowtys in Hatherley.

At present the accommodation provides 5 bedrooms, 2 en suites and a family bathroom. On the ground floor are two principle reception rooms, home office, utility and kitchen.
