Cheltenham is also a rail hub offering extensive services.

A number of design agencies and businesses are located in the town including Weird Fish and SuperGroup PLC owners of Superdry fashions.
Cheltenham is a regional shopping centre, home to department stores including Cavendish House and a recently developed John Lewis.
