Upper Peckingell Farm is approached via a no through road which gives access to a large parking area to the front and side of the main farmhouse. The gardens are predominately to the front of the farmhouse and are mainly laid to lawn with a walled garden behind the private cloisters. There is a mixed fruit orchard and large vegetable patch with raised beds, established in 2020. The land surrounds the property and is mainly down to permanent pasture.

The village itself has a church and public house. There is direct access to Bath, Bristol, the M5 and London with regular commuter rail services running from Chippenham and Swindon stations direct to London Paddington, taking approximately 65 minutes and 60 minutes respectively. In addition Bristol International and Heathrow Airports are both within easy reach.
