Set in a beautiful forest location this FOUR double bedroom detached cottage with parking and generous garden is a short drive from the amenities of Lyndhurst and just 5 minutes from Ashurst Station with a main route East to London and West to Weymouth. Ashurst is also approximately fifteen minute drive from Southampton city centre. 

Through the front door and you have a downstairs cloakroom to your left which then leads to a large open plan living room, dining room and kitchen. The lounge has patio door leading to a private patio area and generous garden with stunning views across the forest and the Annexe with one of the four bedrooms. The kitchen consists of gas hob and oven with extractor hood and fridge freezer. The entrance hall also leads to downstairs bedroom three/ study, cloakroom and useful under stair cupboard and storage.

Ashurst and therefore the property is located within the New Forest National Park, the house is just 5 minutes walk from Ashurst New Forest Railway Station. The house is centrally located within the village allowing a 5 minute walk to the local shop and 2 minutes to two pubs and further shops. You are also located within the catchment area for the impressive Foxhills infants and junior schools and Hounsdown Science secondary school. 

The Ashurst (formerly Lyndhurst Road) station provides good opportunities for train travel around the area, the line connects to Brockenhurst a few miles to the southwest and is a direct commuter route to London Waterloo in only 1hr 30 minutes. 

In the opposite direction from Ashurst village just a couple of miles away is Lyndhurst unofficial capital of the New Forest with further restaurants, coffee shops and a good range of shopping.
