A wonderful four-bedroom home which is located in a quiet close of just eight other properties in a popular development on the edge of Faringdon. The property is arranged over two floors and is in good condition throughout.

The accommodation comprises an entrance hall with stairs leading to the first floor, understairs storage and downstairs cloakroom. To the front there is a study and a dining room, and at the rear, a living room with French doors into the garden. The beautiful shaker style kitchen/breakfast room is fitted with a range of wall and base units and there is a separate utility room.

On the first floor, there are four good-sized bedrooms, two of which benefit from en-suite shower rooms and in-built wardrobes. A family bathroom completes this floor.

Outside, the property has an enclosed and sunny rear garden with gated access to front and a pleasant outlook. The garden is mainly laid to lawn with a large patio area, mature trees to provide privacy and a lower decked area. To the side is a detached single garage with off road parking for 2 or 3 vehicles in front.

The historic market town of Faringdon, dating back at least to the 12th century, has a thriving community and amenities such as the Leisure Centre, Library, Faringdon Community College, Junior and Infant schools as well as The Old Station Nursery, doctors' and dentists' surgeries and a Family Centre. Buses travel from the town to private schools at Abingdon. The town now boasts three large supermarkets.

The Tower on Folly Hill was built by Lord Berners in 1935 and affords panoramic views across four counties. For over 20 years, the town has been twinned with Le Mêle-sur-Sarthe in France and in 2004, Faringdon became the first Fairtrade town in the South East of England. The town is served by the Stagecoach 66 bus which runs a frequent service from Swindon to Oxford and back. Faringdon is also ideally positioned for the A420, leading to the A34, M40 and M4 and mainline railway services from Swindon, Oxford, Oxford Parkway and Didcot Parkway.
