Description

Richmond Cottage is an attractive property constructed of soft red brick under a clay tiled roof and stands some 100 ft back from the road. Behind the cottage is a good area of garden which totals around half an acre. Internally the cottage has been completely renovated and extended providing balanced family accommodation with stylish fittings combined with many original period features.

Formerly two cottages, the property provides four bedrooms, accessed via two independent staircases with two of the rooms providing en suite facilities along with a separate family bathroom.

The ground floor accommodation is extensive comprising entrance hall and several reception rooms. The kitchen/breakfast room is a wonderful and practical space, fully fitted with a range of appliances, and a central informal dining bar. Beyond is a utility room and a cloakroom. Forming part of the extended accommodation is a separate dining room/family area, along with an open-plan aspect to an office/study.

The property is being sold with no onward chain.

Outside
The property is accessed over a shared driveway with the neighbouring property, leading to a private and substantial area of parking to the immediate front of the house. The double garage is adjacent with side gated access leading to the garden. The rear garden has been neatly landscaped commencing a private terraced seating area immediately beyond the principal reception room. A secondary terrace extends from the rear of the house opening on to a lawn with further seating areas and a well. The garden has been split into two sections with a rear paddock enclosed by post and rail fencing. All in around 0.5 of an acre.
