Acton Turville is a pretty village situated on the Gloucestershire/Wiltshire border. There is convenient access to the M4 (J18) and the village is also suitably placed for Bath and Bristol. For those traveling to London there is a fast and regular service from Chippenham to Paddington which takes from 70 minutes. The village itself offers a village shop with post office, church, pub and a good primary school.

Local shopping facilities are found in Chippenham, Chipping Sodbury and larger centres of Bath and Bristol provide first class cultural activities.
