A wonderful five bedroom family home presented in immaculate order. Situated in a popular residential area close to Oxshott Heath and train station.

The Property

This luxurious detached house was constructed in 2012 by Beaufield Homes and offers circa 4,092 sq. ft. of accommodation, arranged over three floors.

Entering into the hallway, you benefit from a bright and airy space with excellent ceiling heights and views ahead all the way through to the garden. The ground floor accommodation comprises three generous receptions rooms plus a large kitchen dining family room. There is also a utility room, cloakroom/WC and internal access through to the integral garage. All of the doors at the back of the house are French doors and offer superb interaction between the house and the garden.

Ascending the stairs to the first floor, you are greeted by the galleried landing. Here are four-bedrooms, all of which have fitted wardrobes. Two of the bedrooms, are en-suite, whilst two share the family bathroom. The master bedroom features an impressive vaulted ceiling, with full height windows and a Juliet balcony. Furthermore, there is a fitted dressing room, along with en-suite bathroom which is fully equipped with bath, separate shower, twin sinks set in a vanity unit and WC.

The top floor is built with concrete construction and underfloor heating as per the other floors, a feature not always present in this price range and a benefit for anyone looking to accommodate gym equipment, pool tables or simply for sound insulation between the floors. This floor comprises a further bedroom suite with dressing room. There is also a loft room and eaves areas offering generous amounts of storage.

Outside

Externally to the rear is a good sized, well maintained private garden with terrace area, ideal for barbecues and al fresco dining. The property is approached via a sweeping paved driveaway, providing ample parking.

Location

One of the main reasons for Cobham’s popularity, apart from its excellent range of schools and sporting opportunities, is its convenient location; the A3 provides easy access to London and the M25 and both Heathrow and Gatwick airports are within striking distance. Cobham & Stoke D’Abernon train station and Oxshott train station, which offer a frequent service to London Waterloo, are 1.9 miles and 1.8 miles away respectively.

NEW NAME. SAME COMMITMENT In 2021, my sister Claire and I took over the business that our father established in 2002. Since then, we’ve been on an incredible journey – and one that culminated in 2023 with a rebrand that saw us change from Grosvenor Billinghurst to Grosvenor . However, our new name quickly caught the attention of an asset management company, with a similar name, and we entered into legal discussions. Of course, being faced with this predicament so soon after launching a new identity was initially a blow; we had invested a lot of time, money and energy into the rebrand. But after really reflecting on the name Grosvenor in the context of the direction the business is now heading in, this new problem became an exciting opportunity. Firstly, Grosvenor was simply a name chosen by our father many years ago. It had no real bearing on who we are as a business today. Nor did it have any direct links back to Claire and I as owners. Furthermore, as a second-generation family business, it’s our name that is, as they say, above the door. And it’s our name that’s important when it comes to driving the business forwards – not Grosvenor . So, whilst the decision to change our name for a second time in 12 months was initiated by external factors, we’re glad that it’s happened. Now, the values that form the foundation of the business are no longer ascribed to Grosvenor, but to Davies Property Partners – our new (and final) name. With our family name now at the centre of the business and this newfound opportunity to celebrate our roots, we feel more invigorated than ever. As a family-owned and managed business that’s started a brand-new chapter, we now look forward to continuing our journey and being part of yours as you embark on your next chapter – either as a seller, buyer, landlord or tenant.
