A beautifully-presented family house located in the prestigious private Oxshott Way Estate. Situated within wonderful landscaped gardens of approximately 1/3 of an acre.

This charming property was originally built in the 1950’s and is set in mature grounds. It was extended in 1986 with a two storey rear addition to provide an enlarged kitchen on the ground floor and master bedroom suite above. At the same time, the existing garage was converted into a study and a single storey side addition was constructed to provide a double length garage. The property was then later, in 2010, further extended to incorporate the wonderful orangery.

Upon entering, the first thing you notice is the warm and welcoming feel. The spacious entrance hall and central reception room give access to all main living areas on the ground floor. The bright lounge to the front, featuring a coal-effect gas fire, leads through to the large open-plan kitchen/family/dining room with patio doors leading out to the garden. There is an abundance of natural light above the dining area, provided by the roof light. From here you can also access the double length garage, offering vehicle storage and further storage.. The kitchen is fully-equipped and has a range of stylish wall and base units, integrated appliances and a larder. Off the kitchen is a utility room with an external door. A study and cloakroom complete the ground floor accommodation.

Ascending the stairs, the first floor comprises the double aspect main bedroom with en-suite shower room and has views of the beautiful gardens; there are three further (two double, one single) bedrooms and a family bathroom. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, providing great storage space. There is a good-size loft which can be accessed via a hatch on the landing. This is currently used for storage, however may be possible for conversion, subject to the usual planning consents.

Externally to the rear is the garden bordered by mature trees and shrubs, providing total privacy. The garden is a dream for keen gardeners and is divided into three sections; directly outside the house is a paved area before you step onto the lawn, an archway leads to the next section which is mainly laid to lawn and has a pond with working fountain and an apple tree. The last section is a kitchen garden with raised beds for growing your own fruit and vegetables.

To the front is a gravel driveway offering secure parking for several cars. It is also bordered by mature vegetation and to the side of the house is a lockable gate giving access to the rear garden.

Brookmead is located midway between Gatwick and Heathrow airports, it offers quick access into London via the nearby A3 and the M25 is also within easy reach. The property is well placed for a number of excellent schools, including Danes Hill in Oxshott and the ACS International School in Cobham.
EPC Rating: D

NEW NAME. SAME COMMITMENT In 2021, my sister Claire and I took over the business that our father established in 2002. Since then, we’ve been on an incredible journey – and one that culminated in 2023 with a rebrand that saw us change from Grosvenor Billinghurst to Grosvenor . However, our new name quickly caught the attention of an asset management company, with a similar name, and we entered into legal discussions. Of course, being faced with this predicament so soon after launching a new identity was initially a blow; we had invested a lot of time, money and energy into the rebrand. But after really reflecting on the name Grosvenor in the context of the direction the business is now heading in, this new problem became an exciting opportunity. Firstly, Grosvenor was simply a name chosen by our father many years ago. It had no real bearing on who we are as a business today. Nor did it have any direct links back to Claire and I as owners. Furthermore, as a second-generation family business, it’s our name that is, as they say, above the door. And it’s our name that’s important when it comes to driving the business forwards – not Grosvenor . So, whilst the decision to change our name for a second time in 12 months was initiated by external factors, we’re glad that it’s happened. Now, the values that form the foundation of the business are no longer ascribed to Grosvenor, but to Davies Property Partners – our new (and final) name. With our family name now at the centre of the business and this newfound opportunity to celebrate our roots, we feel more invigorated than ever. As a family-owned and managed business that’s started a brand-new chapter, we now look forward to continuing our journey and being part of yours as you embark on your next chapter – either as a seller, buyer, landlord or tenant.
