A very appealing 3 bedroom period house with the benefit of a full-width kitchen extension and delightful landscaped garden, situated in a great location within favoured West Harrow Village, close to the Metropolitan Line station, local shops, recreation park with cafe and some highly rated schools.  With a flowing open-plan layout to the ground floor, this character property features high ceilings and other period details throughout including a lovely fireplace and bay window to the lounge.

The kitchen is modern and spacious with doors out to the garden which is mostly paved with attractive borders and a quiet area with pond to the rear.  Other features include the use of Farrow & Ball paints in many rooms, Fired Earth bathroom tiles with underfloor heating to that room, gas-fired central heating, double glazing and a large attic suitable for conversion to a large master bedroom with en-suite, as other homeowners have done locally.

West Harrow Village is a sought after residential area, very popular with young professionals and families.  An enclave of mainly Victorian/Edwardian era properties, it benefits from highly rated schools for all ages, a Metropolitan Line station providing fast commuter access to Central London and a large recreation park with cafe.  It has preserved a friendly community feel with local shops for day-to-day needs and is an easy walk from Harrow town centre which also has a Metropolitan/Chiltern Line station at Harrow on the Hill providing very fast access to Aldgate and Marylebone respectively.

Harrow is a sizable town with 2 covered shopping centres and many High Street stores as well as excellent road links to the surrounding area and London airports.  Leisure facilities include multiple restaurants, bars and a Vue Cinema, as well as golf courses.  The delightful Conservation Area of Harrow on the Hill is within walking distance where many local residents enjoy time at the upmarket coffee shops, cocktail bars & pub restaurants, all of which combines to make the area excellent value and a great lifestyle choice!

Notes from the Owner;
West Harrow is a fantastic, quiet, community-minded place to live, but with a very local tube station or Harrow on the Hill just 5-10 minute walk away with fast connections to London. Lots of good local independent restaurants in Pinner, Hatch End, Harrow and Wealdstone (Masa, the best Afghan food at your fingertips!) as well as the cinema and chain restaurants like Nandos in Harrow town centre. We will genuinely miss our fantastic neighbours.  We all love the local park with space for a run or to fly a kite but it also has unrivalled facilities with pitches for football, cricket, tennis or basketball and one of the best playgrounds around, not to mention Syds lovely cafe.  The house itself has allowed us to grow as a family. Lovely for us as young(ish) professionals but with great storage space meaning that, as the family grew, it could accommodate us. The character features have made for a house with great personality that is highly adaptable to contain modern features. The garden is a calming oasis which gets lots of sun, lovely for morning coffee and evening barbeques.
