Spring Lake is one of the most popular lakes in the Cotswold Waterpark and is home to the Lakeside Ski & Wake with the adjoining brasserie. The lodges here are perched along the south westerly facing shores and have fantastic views across the water and a great spot to watch the waterports activities.
These lodges are one of only a few semi-detached properties and the current owners have a strong desire to sell both to the same new owner/family. The owners have been enjoying using these lodges for many years now with 36 being solely used privately and 37 having enjoyed spells with tenants.
Both lodges are esseintaly the same design but mirror images of each other, the key difference being 37 has been altered with an open plan kitchen/dining/living area whilst 36 has the original galley kitchen layout. To the front there is a parking space for one car and steps up to the front door. From here you come into a porch area for storing coats and shoes before opening up to the open plan kitchen/living space. The entrance all also houses a downstairs cloakroom with WC and shower cubicle.
Both lodges have kitchens fitted with appliances including an electric hob with a double oven, fridge/freezer, sink and drainer. The living room is a lovely bright space with stairs leading to the first floor, understairs storage and French doors leading out to the terrace. From here there are steps down to a communal lawn and the lakeshore.
Heading upstairs are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom sits at the back of the house and has space for a kingsize bed and a fantastic lake view. Bedroom two will take a double bed whilst bedroom three will take a single or bunk bed. The bathroom has a WC, basin and bath with shower.
These lodges are designated as holiday homes and as such should only be purchased and used as a secondary homes. Although they can be used 12 months of the year, they are not permitted for use as your main residence.
The lodges are adjacent to the Lakeside Brasserie, gym and waterski/wakeboarding centre and just about 1 mile from the centre of South Cerney village. There is a foot/cycle path leading all the way to the village where you will find many amenities such as a Co-Op, One Stop, The Braai House post office and deli/coffee shop, a chemist, doctors' surgery, fish & chip shop, Indian restaurant and three pubs. Countryside walks are plentiful and the Cotswold Waterpark is home to many lakes featuring paddleboarding, sailing, swimming and waterskiing.
Travel connections to London are a breeze with direct trains to Paddington from Kemble (78 mins) 4 miles away or Swindon (58 mins) 12.5 miles away. The A419 gives access to the M4 Jct 15 (16 miles) with easy access to the M5 whilst Cirencester is only 4 miles and Cheltenham 20 miles away.
