The Old Farrier's Cottage is located in a tranquil rural setting in the picturesque hamlet of Rhoscefnhir, which lies close to the village of Pentraeth, as well as the renowned Red Wharf Bay and the popular resort of Benllech. The hamlet is also well placed for many of the other rural and coastal attractions to be found on the island, in addition to being in convenient travelling distance for the towns of Menai Bridge and Llangefni, which between them offer a wide range of shops and most essential services. Furthermore, both towns enjoy close links to the A55 Expressway, allowing rapid commuting throughout Anglesey, to the mainland and beyond. A little further afield the port town of Holyhead provides an excellent ferry crossing to and from Ireland, as well as a first-rate intercity train service.
