Conigre House occupies an excellent setting in
the village, enjoying lovely southerly views over
the valley to the rolling countryside beyond. The
house was originally built in 1937 and has been
substantially and appropriately extended and
improved by the current vendors to create a
great family home. The house is well-presented
and the main rooms all have good proportions.

Rendcomb is a popular and unspoilt Cotswold
village, situated in the pretty Churn Valley
between Cirencester and Cheltenham. Most
of the village dates from the late 19th century
when the imposing Rendcomb House was built.
This opened as Rendcomb College in 1918.
The village is a proper community with a church,
Post Office/shop, village hall and doctor’s
surgery. Cirencester (6 miles) has an excellent
range of shops and services. Cheltenham is 9
miles to the north. The A417/9 dual carriageway
connects Junction 11A of the M5 to Junction 15
of the M4 at Swindon. Direct rail services to
London Paddington from Kemble or Swindon
station, the latter scheduled to take from
approximately 55 minutes.

Ample local sporting opportunities including
a number of golf courses. Rendcomb College,
an independent mixed boarding and day
school (ages 3 -18) is just a short walk from the
property. There is also a number of grammar
schools in the area.

Conigre House is approached down a gravelled
driveway leading to a parking area at the
north of the house. This is edged by lawns and
borders. Adjoining is a double carport and a
garage, with a log store to one side. To the rear
is a productive vegetable garden, a greenhouse
and soft fruit cages. The main garden lies to the
south of the house, enjoying the lovely views.
There is a gravelled terrace and gently sloping
lawns, interspersed with trees and shrubs.
