The development of two dwellings obtained planning permission from Cheltenham Borough Council on 17th February 2022 under planning reference 21/02148/FUL. The two plots both have integral garages and are summarised as Plot 1 being to the North with a Gross Internal Floor Area of 309m2 and integral garage measuring 36m2. Plot 2 to the South has a Gross Internal Floor Area of 423.5m2 and integral garage measuring 36m2.
Please note Plot 2 - The Local Planning Authority (LPA) are aware that there is an alleged Public Right of Way (PROW) that is suggested to be crossing the application site. This route is not included on the Definitive Map's held by Gloucestershire County Council (GCC). An application has been made to GCC for this route to be included within the Definitive Maps register and is due to be assessed by the Planning inspectorate. Should the footpath be approved the GCC DMMO team has indicated that it can be moved to the central access way.
Location
The site at Leckhampton is located towards the foot of Leckhampton Hill approximately 3.5km to the south of the centre of Cheltenham and is opposite the junction of Leckhampton Road with Old Bath Road. Close to the town centre and local facilities it is a highly sustainable location. There are excellent local road networks on the A40, A419 and M5. Train links to Birmingham New Street and Bristol via Cheltenham Spa within 45 minutes.
