DESCRIPTION

Chapel Moriah is a detached former chapel constructed of stone with slate roof and part rendered elevations. The property has recently been skilfully converted and benefits from numerous modern building techniques and materials but still retains many period features. The front door opens into the entrance hall from which all ground floor rooms are accessed; Immediately to the right is the dining room with double aspect and exposed stone wall. On the left hand side of the entrance hall is the kitchen which has fitted Howden’s wall and base units with tiled splashbacks, 1½ bowl sink, 4 ring electric hob and integrated oven. To one end of the room is a breakfast bar and seating/dining area housing a log burner with built in oven and also has television & internet connection points. At the end of the entrance hall is the living room, which also has external door to the rear, containing exposed stone work, log burner with a modern vented system that heats the radiators and the water with back up immersion heater which is extremely cost effective to run and no large gas bills with tiled hearth and recess.
