Fees and Terms for Tenants
New Assured Shorthold Tenancies (ASTs) signed on or after 1 June 2019
Holding Deposit (per tenancy) – One weeks rent
Security Deposit (per tenancy for rent under £50,000 per year) – Five weeks rent

Unpaid Rent – Interest will be charged at 3% above the Bank of England Base Rate from the rent due date until the rent is paid. (This will only be applied when the rent is more than 14 days in arrears)
Lost Key(s) or Security Device(s) – Tenants will be liable for the cost of replacing any lost key(s) or other security device(s). If the locks need to changed, the tenant will be liable for the cost of a locksmith, replacement lock and replacement keys for the tenant, landlord and any other persons requiring keys.
Changes to The Tenancy, requested by the tenant - £50 (inc vat) or reasonable costs incurred if higher.
Early Termination of the Tenancy Requested by the Tenant – Tenant will be liable for the loss suffered by the landlord as a result of the termination.
