A handsome double-fronted period house providing 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom accommodation with generous living space including 2 large reception rooms, a delightful rear garden and driveway parking for 2 cars.  Well presented and maintained by the present owner, it combines considerable character with many contemporary features and is located on one of West Harrows most sought after roads, a short walk from excellent local schools including St Anselms Catholic Primary and Vaughan First & Middle School.  There are also stations, parks and shops nearby.

Offered for sale with the benefit of no onward chain, this bright and airy property has a great deal of charm and is unusual within the local area for having 4 bedrooms plus separate modern bath and shower rooms, all arranged on the first floor.  Being one of only a few homes built in a similar style, it represents a rare chance to acquire such an attractive family home with other benefits including period-style fireplaces, gas central heating, double glazed windows and potential to extend to the rear (and possibly in to the attic) using permitted development rights.  We strongly recommend an early viewing.

West Harrow Village is a sought after residential area, very popular with young professionals and families.  An enclave of mainly Edwardian terraced houses and some larger 1920-s homes, it benefits from highly rated schools for all ages, a Metropolitan Line station providing fast commuter access to Central London and a large recreation park.  It has preserved a friendly community feel with local shops for day-to-day needs and is an easy walk from Harrow town centre which has a Metropolitan/Chiltern Line station at Harrow on the Hill.

Harrow is a sizable town with 2 covered shopping centres and many High Street stores as well as excellent road links to the surrounding area and London airports.  Leisure facilities include multiple restaurants, bars and a Vue Cinema, as well golf courses.  The delightful Conservation Area of Harrow on the Hill is within walking distance where many local residents enjoy time at the upmarket coffee bars, restaurants and pubs, all of which combines to make the area both excellent value for London living and a great lifestyle choice!

Notes from the Owner;
In terms of what I love about the property and the surrounding area: for me the house has the feel of being in the countryside as it has large bay windows, is set back from the road at the front with hedges marking out the driveway and has a garden that it is not overlooked. So the house and garden feel spacious and light and also very private.  I also love that it has large, bright and airy reception rooms that get a lot of light, particularly the double aspect living room, and that it is bigger than you expect upstairs, again with lots of natural light and a separate shower room which is good for a tall person. Also the proximity to the West Harrow recreation ground and central London via the tube/Chiltern line less than ten minutes walk, and the neighbourly feel.  There are families either side who are lovely and have lived there since before I bought the house in 2013.
