Situation
Brookfield, 25 Waterslap is situated on the southern side of the popular East Ayrshire village of Fenwick. The house is on the fringe of the village and it enjoys easy access to the village as well as surrounding open countryside.

Fenwick is a vibrant village giving the chance to enjoy a rural way of life, yet it enjoys easy access to the M77, making Fenwick a convenient destination of choice for those who are required to commute to Glasgow and or the ever developing Ayrshire coastline. The village offers a delicatessen, pharmacy, primary school, church, The Kings Arms and the popular Fenwick Hotel. Galston, Kilmarnock and Stewarton provide a choice of secondary schools. Many children in the district attend independent schools in Ayr and Glasgow.

Kilmarnock is about 4 miles to the south west with a good range of high street shops, sporting & leisure facilities, professional services, supermarkets and retail
parks. Silverburn shopping centre and a Waitrose store in Newton Mearns are a 10 minute drive on the M77.

Kilmaurs, Stewarton and Kilmarnock have main line railway stations to Glasgow, as well as an express bus service from Kilmarnock and Fenwick. Glasgow city centre is about a 20 minutes’ drive to the north (in normal driving conditions) and provides an excellent range of shops, professional services, higher education, cultural and retail facilities, as well as an excellent rail service to Edinburgh and the North.

The nearby M77 junctions 7 and 8 connect to the M8 and M74 providing onward access to central Scotland and the South.

Fenwick is close to both Prestwick Airport (14 miles) and Glasgow Airport (22 miles) which offer a wide range of domestic and international flights.

Ayrshire is famous worldwide for its golf courses – private and public. World class championship courses within easy reach include Royal Troon, Prestwick and Turnberry. The Firth of Clyde is renowned as being one of the most scenic coastal sailing destinations in Europe with excellent marina and chandlery services on the Firth of Clyde at Troon, Ardrossan, Largs and Inverkip.

A number of local estates run commercial low ground pheasant shoots and the district has many lochs and rivers which offer interesting wild trout sport.

Travel Directions
From Glasgow City Centre travel west on the M8 and take M77 signed Kilmarnock/Ayr/ Prestwick at junction 22. Continue for about 14 miles to junction 7 signposted Fenwick. At the bottom of the slip road turn left and proceed into village. At mini roundabout turn right onto Fenwick Main Street, continue for about 1 mile, at right hand bend turn left onto Waterslap. Continue and once over the bridge the entrance to Brookfield (last property on the left) is on the left hand side."

Full profileProperty listingsHome Report
The business model of Estate Agency and Lettings distribution has changed, no longer do people pour over local papers searching for their dream home; no longer do they need to look in estate agents' windows or queue to discuss search criteria with estate agency or lettings receptionists. In recognising this, we have changed too, we have evolved to develop an efficient business model which pro-actively distributes property globally via our well managed database and digitally via the world wide web. Good systems are important to us, however, Estate & Lettings Agency is a people business, our people have been carefully selected for their scope of property and customer interfacing expertise. We recruit intelligent, clear thinking and articulate property professionals. The team has an average of 20 years’ experience in the industry and we are proud to have been behind some of the most high profile and often complex sales and property asset management deals in the West of Scotland. At Robb Residential we can’t say we are the largest firm, we’re not. At Robb Residential, we can’t say we are the smallest firm; we’re not. Our point of difference lies in our people and in the delivery of service excellence. The Robb Residential team owns and shares in its commitment to delivering that service excellence, and so what we can say with a measure of assured confidence is that we will be the best.
